In his latest collection, Philip takes the viewer on a journey through his richly expressive brushwork and his impeccable knowledge of light. Philip not only captures the physical terrain, but his paintings also epitomize the sense of awe and wonder of Canada's diverse landscape.
"Light is the engine of my composition. I use multiple layers of coloured glazes with alternating layers of solid deliberate strokes of paint to convey the effect of light on my subject. This interprets my experience and vision in a direct way with the viewer." - Philip Craig
