Natural Explorations: New Paintings by Ron Bolt

Loch Gallery is delighted to present an exhibition of new paintings by renowned Canadian artist, Ron Bolt. The paintings in this recent collection continue to explore Ron's interest in light – its reflective qualities, how photography captures it and the magical ways in which it recasts the natural world.

In his own words, Bolt writes, “I revel in the infinite variety of the natural world and my work is an act of preservation. To preserve the natural world is to preserve a language. It’s the language of the wind and shifting light, of silence, stillness and space. It allows us to converse with the other voices, the voices of our true aspirations, our regrets, our hopes.”
