We are thrilled to announce the completion of Nick Rooney’s latest project—a collection of twenty-six stunning paintings commissioned by TC Energy.
This incredible collection is displayed on the newest floor at TC Energy Tower in Calgary. The workspace was designed to promote an accessible and inclusive workspace through thoughtful and innovative design. TC Energy commissioned Nick Rooney to create a one-of-a-kind collection, with each piece reflecting TC Energy’s mission, and Nick’s unique artistic vision.
In these paintings, Nick explores the delicate balance between industrial activity and the preservation of nature. By incorporating realistic animals within colourful geometric settings, Nick’s work highlights the complex coexistence of wildlife and industry.
The animals in Nick’s paintings are all currently thriving on TC Energy's reclaimed lands. This collection is a true celebration of the company's commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable land management, and commitment to environmental stewardship efforts.
