One Cast Remains of Monumental Sculpture "Seal River Crossing"

In June 2007 sculptor Peter Sawatzky unveiled the first edition of his monumental sculpture Seal River Crossing

This work  situated at Portage Avenue and Main Street in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba, is a 29 foot long heroic bronze of 11 caribou crossing a turbulent river.

This major sculpture was commissioned by James Richardson & Sons Limited in commemoration of their 150th anniversary.
